Strawberry Mint Sorbet

This sorbet is a great summer treat because it has both the sweetness of strawberries and the coolness of mint.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions:

Put strawberries, sugar, mint leaves, water, and lemon juice in a blender

Mix until it's smooth

Put the mix through a fine-mesh sieve to get rid of any solids

Put the strained mixture into an ice cream maker and churn it according to the directions on the machine's box

Once the sorbet is smooth, put it in a container that can go in the freezer and freeze it for at least 4 hours, or until it is firm

Enjoy! Serve cold
